Sixth Grader Opens Fire on Three People
A sixth-grade student opened fire at a school in Idaho, USA, injuring three individuals, according to Associated Press.
Authorities reported that the girl had a handgun in her backpack. As a result of the shooting, two students and one adult were injured. It is believed that their lives are not in danger, the Gazette reports.
The sixth grader was disarmed by a teacher, who held her until police arrived and took the student into custody.
"At this time, we do not have many details about what prompted the child to take this action; an investigation is underway," Anderson stated.
