Pregnant Woman Dies in Yerevan

A pregnant woman has died in one of Yerevan's maternity hospitals. The Ministry of Health confirms the news.

The deceased woman was 30 years old. The cause of death is postpartum preeclampsia, a pregnancy-related condition characterized by high blood pressure and often significant protein in the urine.

The woman gave birth via cesarean section at 36 weeks gestation. The newborn does not have any health issues. This is the second child for the parents.
