Gunshots in Yerevan: The Perpetrator is a 36-Year-Old Woman
On May 6, gunshots were heard in Yerevan. Officers from the criminal investigation department of the Yerevan police and the Malatia police force, acting on received operational data, detained a resident of the Malatia-Sebastia administrative district, 36-year-old Lusine K., on suspicion of hooliganism.
According to Shamshyan.com, it has been confirmed that the operational data received by the Yerevan police was accurate. On May 5, around 10:00 PM, Lusine K. had an altercation with a familiar young man in the parking lot of a building on Babajanyan Street, and in an attempt to intimidate him, she fired several shots from a firearm she had in her possession.
Fortunately, there were no injuries. Police also discovered the firearm. Necessary operational-search measures are being taken to identify and locate the young man involved. Materials are being prepared in the investigation department of the Malatia police regarding the incident.
