Video: A Museum in Honor of the Commander Will Be Established; Armen Sarkissian Visits the Family of the Hero General
The President of the Republic of Armenia, Armen Sarkissian, visited the house of the hero of Artsakh, Major General Arkadi Ter-Tadevosyan, known as the Commander, today, to meet with his widow, Hasmik Sahakyan, his son, Hayk Ter-Tadevosyan, and other family members. This information was provided by the press office of the Armenian President.
The meeting was initiated by the family of the legendary military figure. Recently, Hayk Ter-Tadevosyan met with President Armen Sarkissian to discuss the idea of establishing a museum in honor of Arkadi Ter-Tadevosyan, inviting the president to their home.
President Sarkissian expressed his support for the idea of the museum and offered assistance for its realization. Today, he discussed the proposal with the Commander’s family members, shared insights about the hero’s journey during the Artsakh War, and learned about many previously unknown aspects of his life.
Armen Sarkissian stated that he would somehow be the first visitor of Arkadi Ter-Tadevosyan's future museum. “I hope that the concept of the museum will come to life as soon as possible, and the Commander’s comrades-in-arms will come here to share memories, reconnect with their beloved commander, and also present their stories of the paths they traversed and the victories they achieved,” he noted.
Hayk Ter-Tadevosyan mentioned that the museum will exhibit the hero’s personal belongings, documents related to his combat path, maps, and other items.
