Special Signs for Taxis May Indicate Vaccinated Drivers
It is becoming increasingly apparent that, at some point, countries will ban unvaccinated citizens from entering their territories. This was announced by Armenia's Acting Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan during a government meeting on May 6. He added that such countries could emerge as early as August and September.
Pashinyan reminded that the vaccination process involves two injections, and the interval between them can take up to two months. Therefore, if a person plans to travel somewhere in August, it is better for them to get vaccinated starting today.
The acting Prime Minister also expressed the opinion that there may be specific signs for taxis that could inform tourists that a particular driver is vaccinated. Such symbols could also be issued for private companies and cafes, so that tourists can be assured that the majority of staff in those establishments are vaccinated when they see the sign.
