Landslides Block Pipeline Supplying Water to Stepanakert

The Stepanakert municipality informs that the pipeline supplying water to Stepanakert has been blocked due to landslides. This was announced on the municipality's official Facebook page.

“Dear citizens, we would like to inform you that the pipeline supplying water to Stepanakert has been blocked due to landslides, resulting in a significant reduction in the volume of water reaching the city’s purification station. Additionally, the water is murky, and it will take longer than usual to purify it. Therefore, the volumes of water supplied to subscribers will also be reduced, and in some cases, there will be temporary disconnections,” the statement said. The teams from the Water and Sewage Company are working to resolve the emergency.

We ask for your understanding, and in response to circulating rumors, we assure you that the issues with the water supply system are solely due to weather conditions,” the announcement emphasized.
