Is Lavrov's Working Visit Going Smoothly? The Ministry of Foreign Affairs Comments
Reports are circulating in the media that the working visit of Sergey Lavrov, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, who arrived in Armenia last night, is not going smoothly.
Specifically, it is noted that shortly before, Russian and Armenian delegations had lunch together at the 'Villa Avenue' restaurant located in the Pushkin-Teryan area, and witnesses have reported that outside the restaurant, the Armenian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ara Aivazian, received complaints from the Armenian Ambassador to Russia, Vardan Toghanyan.
According to sources, there are disagreements within the Armenian side, and the visit has not been successful for them.
Auroranews reached out to Anna Naghdalyan, the spokesperson for the Armenian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. She deemed the circulating news absurd, adding: 'It is absolutely false and does not even require commentary. The meeting went according to plan, and the Russian delegation is already leaving Armenia,' Naghdalyan stated during our conversation.
