Yerevan’s Bus Route 74 Resumes Operations with New Fleet

Starting from May 6, Yerevan's bus route 74 will begin operations with thirteen new compact buses, marking the fourth such route to introduce new vehicles.

According to the Yerevan Municipality’s information and public relations department, following the launch of this route, new buses are planned to be used on route 47, which will connect Nubarashen administrative district to the Yerablur military pantheon. Subsequently, route 24 will also be put into service, linking Noragyt with the Arabkir administrative district.

The 74 route will start from the 4th district of Davtashen and will run via Halabyan Street and Arshakunyats Avenue, reaching its final destination in the Erebuni district. The route will operate from 07:30 until 23:00.

Passengers will need to pay upon boarding. The coin acceptance machine only takes 100 dram coins. If passengers do not have a 100 dram coin, the driver may provide change initially, but it is highly recommended to have the exact change. An electronic payment system will also be introduced soon.

The interior of the bus is under surveillance for the safety of passengers and traffic. Drivers are dressed in special uniforms and are instructed not to smoke or use mobile phones while driving,” the Yerevan Municipality reminds.
