Intoxicated Woman Breaks Door of Art Academy, Injures Herself and Flees

Today around 6:00 PM, an intoxicated woman broke the entrance door of the Yerevan State Academy of Fine Arts. This was reported to Tert.am by a police officer present at the scene.

"This is not considered vandalism, as there was no altercation. The woman, in an intoxicated state, broke the door and fled the area," he noted.

The academy's caretaker also provided details in a conversation with the media. "The students were finishing their classes and were heading home when suddenly a woman came and started breaking the windows. After breaking them, she threw the pieces inside, injuring herself. We called an ambulance, but we couldn’t stop the woman to offer assistance; she simply fled," he said.

There are no other injured citizens, and the woman's identity has not yet been revealed.
