First High-Ranking Official Vaccinated with Chinese Vaccine

Today, Lena Nazaryan received her vaccination with the Chinese vaccine. This information was shared on the Facebook page of the Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly.

“Friends, today I received the first dose of the CoronaVac vaccine from the Chinese company Sinovac against COVID-19. This vaccine was provided to Armenia on May 2 by the friendly government of the People’s Republic of China as part of measures to prevent the COVID-19 pandemic (100,000 doses for 50,000 individuals). The CoronaVac vaccine is intended for vaccination against COVID-19 among individuals aged 18 and older in high-risk groups. It is administered in two doses, each 0.5 ml, with the second dose given 28 days after the first dose.

Get vaccinated and prevent COVID-19. All individuals aged 18 and over can be vaccinated against COVID-19 for free at any polyclinic, regardless of their registration place. Vaccinations are also free for foreign citizens. Duty hours for vaccinations at polyclinics are set on Saturdays and Sundays from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Please call the polyclinic in advance and register for your vaccination,” Nazaryan wrote.
