Fire in Norashen Village: Dozens of Animals Perish

A barn has burned down in Norashen village of Aragatsotn Province today, resulting in the loss of the animals that were inside. This information has been reported by the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Armenia.

The Aragatsotn regional crisis management center received the fire alert at 06:30 AM. Two firefighting units from the regional rescue department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations were dispatched to the scene.

It was determined that the fire broke out in a barn adjacent to one of the houses on 11th Street in Norashen village. According to the report, “The wooden structures of the barn roof (approximately 9 square meters) were burned, about 15 square meters of corrugated metal were damaged, and two large cattle, 15 rabbits, and 30 chickens perished.”

The fire was contained by 07:10 AM and completely extinguished by 08:50 AM.
