Current COVID-19 Data: How Many New Cases Recorded in Armenia

As of May 5, a total of 493 new cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed in Armenia, bringing the total number of infected individuals to 217,900.

According to the National Center for Disease Control and Prevention of the Ministry of Health of Armenia, 13 citizens have died from the virus in a single day, increasing the death toll to 4,178.

No deaths from other illnesses among COVID-19 patients have been reported in the past day. As of May 5, the total number of these cases stands at 1,029. The overall death toll has now reached 5,207.

In one day, 452 individuals have recovered from the virus, with a total of 201,559 recoveries reported. Currently, there are 11,134 active patients receiving treatment (an increase of 28 in one day).

A total of 3,954 tests were conducted in the last day, bringing the overall number of tests conducted to 1,000,909 to date.
