Starting This Week, Vaccination Against COVID-19 Will Be Possible in Public Areas Including Malls and Squares
Starting this week, small vaccination points will be set up in various public places in Armenia, such as shopping centers, malls, and public squares. Customers and passersby will have the opportunity to get vaccinated against the coronavirus, thus combining two tasks in one and saving time.
The Ministry of Health is set to announce the exact locations of these vaccination points on Wednesday.
According to Armenian-American surgeon Shant Shkhurtumyan, this practice is also used in the United States, and the purpose of such initiatives is to assist citizens in getting vaccinated against the coronavirus disease. He stated, “Residents will be able to get vaccinated against the coronavirus quickly and without any issues in public places. The Ministry of Health and the state are working in this direction,” during a press conference held today.
The vaccination process at these small points will follow the same principles as that in polyclinics.
