New Details on Major Road Accident-Pedestrian Incident: Injured Include State Revenue Committee Official and Two Armed Forces Officers
The senior investigator of the Road Transport Incidents Investigation and Administrative Proceedings Division of the Road Police, Ararat Tevosyan, has revealed details regarding the identities of victims and drivers involved in a serious road accident-pedestrian incident that occurred in Yerevan on May 3, as reported by Shamshyan.com.
It turns out that the Toyota was driven by Robert Grigoryan, a 40-year-old resident of Ararat province, while the BMW, with license plate 30 PN 400, was driven by Pavel Naghdaljan, a 32-year-old resident of Yerevan. Following this, Arthur Hovhannisyan, a 29-year-old resident of the village of Lchashen in Gegharkunik province, struck Naghdaljan with his BMW, which has license plate 34 LC 192, and subsequently crashed into Naghdaljan's BMW. This caused Naghdaljan's vehicle to collide with Grigoryan's Toyota.
As a result of the accident-pedestrian incident, Grigoryan, Naghdaljan, and a passenger of Hovhannisyan, 27-year-old Samson Chobanyan from Stepanavan, were taken to the Erebuni Medical Center. Hovhannisyan himself was transported to Yerevan's Heratsi University Hospital.
According to available information, Grigoryan is the head of the Ararat Division of the Investigation and Operational-Intelligence Department of the State Revenue Committee, while Hovhannisyan serves as a platoon commander in the Armenian Ministry of Defense's military unit N. Chobanyan also serves in a military unit of the Ministry of Defense as a squad leader.
