Diplomat Representing U.S. Interests in Iran Found Dead
A staff member of the Swiss Embassy who represented U.S. interests in Tehran has died. This has been reported by the Iranian Mehr news agency.
According to emergency services, the 51-year-old woman fell from a high-rise building in the Kamraniyeh district of the Iranian capital. Initially, it was assumed that the discovered body belonged to a man, but later examinations revealed that it was a woman.
At the same time, the circumstances surrounding the diplomat's death have not yet been clarified. Law enforcement agencies are trying to determine whether it was an accident or suicide.
It is known that the woman held the position of first secretary at the embassy.
