Azerbaijani Armed Forces Conduct UAV Training Flights

The calculations of various types of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) within the Azerbaijani Armed Forces are conducting training flights. This information was reported by Sputnik Azerbaijan, citing the Ministry of Defense.

It is noted that the exercises are being held in accordance with the combat readiness plan. The UAV units are performing practical flights and engaging in combat training tasks aimed at enhancing the skills accumulated during training with the latest simulators.

"The UAV teams are accomplishing their assigned tasks by accurately identifying enemy targets concealed in defensive positions in a timely manner, as well as conducting reconnaissance at various altitudes and transmitting the collected data to command points," the statement reads.

According to the source, specialized unmanned aerial vehicles designed for optical and electronic reconnaissance of the terrain are being used during the execution of the tasks.

It is reminded that from April 6-8, Azerbaijani-Turkish exercises involving communications personnel were conducted. Modern communication means and automated control systems were utilized during the exercises.
