Public Transport Services Suspended in Georgia for Ten Days
Starting today, from May 3 until May 12 inclusive, the operation of municipal transport (metro, buses, minibus taxis) is prohibited throughout Georgia. The interagency council made this decision on April 26.
The ten-day transport ban does not apply to intercity travel.
Today, Georgia observes the Memorial Day following Easter. From tomorrow, non-working days will commence in the country until May 12 inclusive.
