How Safe is Sputnik V? WHO to Provide Assessment

The World Health Organization is set to provide its assessment regarding the safety of the Russian Sputnik V vaccine by the end of June or in July. According to a statement by WHO expert Mariangela Simao during a press briefing, “Our team has already been in Russia for the past two weeks and is evaluating the clinical trials. From May 10 to the first week of June, we will begin checking the production,” she stated.

It is expected that the expert group will be able to evaluate the vaccine by the end of June, but more likely in July.
