532 New Cases of Coronavirus Infection, 20 Deaths Reported

As of May 1, 532 new cases of coronavirus infection have been confirmed in Armenia, bringing the total number of infected individuals to 216,596.

According to the National Center for Disease Control and Prevention of the RA Ministry of Health, 20 citizens died from COVID-19 within one day, raising the death toll to 4,128.

Additionally, there were 2 deaths registered among patients infected with the coronavirus who had other health conditions. As of May 1, the total number of these cases has reached 1,020. In total, 22 people died in a single day, increasing the overall death toll to 5,148.

The number of recoveries in one day has reached 980, with a total of 199,115 individuals having recovered. The number of currently treated patients is 12,333, which has decreased by 470 in a day.

In the past 24 hours, 4,430 tests were conducted, making for a total of 988,086 tests performed to date.
