Serzh Sargsyan Will Not Personally Be Included in the Electoral List

The third President of Armenia, Serzh Sargsyan, will not personally participate in the elections and will not be included in the electoral list. This was reported by 'Factinfo'.

As previously announced, the Executive Body of the Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) made a decision yesterday to participate in the snap elections by forming a political alliance with the 'Homeland' party, conditionally referred to as the 'anti-crisis coalition'.

In a conversation with 'Factinfo', RPA spokesperson Eduard Sharmazanov did not officially confirm or deny the information that the name of the third President would not be on the list, implying that he would not lead the electoral list during the elections.

According to Sharmazanov, the party has not yet discussed their electoral list for the upcoming snap parliamentary elections. 'The Republican Party of Armenia, led by Serzh Sargsyan, will participate in the snap parliamentary elections. Therefore, we are all involved in this process. As we have stated, we will approach the elections in an alliance with the 'Homeland' party. The goal is one: to do everything necessary to remove the treacherous, capitulating authorities. As for the electoral list, we have not discussed it yet. The most important thing is that our party will participate in the elections,' said Eduard Sharmazanov.
