Rustam Badasyan Initiates Disciplinary Proceedings Against Judge Arman Hovhannisyan

Rustam Badasyan has initiated disciplinary proceedings against Judge Arman Hovhannisyan. Lawyer Yervand Varosyan made this announcement on his Facebook page.

“It turns out that Rustam, not Muradov but Badasyan, has initiated disciplinary proceedings against Judge Arman Hovhannisyan. Rustam and Nikol are displeased with one of the judge's decisions. Moreover, that decision was later challenged in appellate and cassation courts and remained legally in effect.

Arman Hovhannisyan is not only one of the best judges in Armenia but also a rare true scholar in the field of Armenian law. Certainly, the judicial acts issued by Mr. Hovhannisyan are so scientifically justified that many individuals who obtained their law degree while their male parent held a high position may have difficulties in understanding them.

Knowing Mr. Hovhannisyan, I can imagine how he smiles broadly when reading the decision to initiate proceedings. I too smile because I know that we, Armenians who possess a solid sense of justice, cannot be stopped or scared off by anything like this.

And these members of the state-dismantling junta will not only fail to complete the dismantling of Armenia but will soon be dreaming that their cases are assigned especially to Judge Arman Hovhannisyan,” Varosyan wrote.
