If we analyze the aspect being created in the political field, it appears that this newly formed alliance will overcome the 5 percent barrier. This was stated by MP Hovik Agazaryan from the "My Step" faction in an interview with ArmDaily.am, referring to the formation of the Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) and the "Fatherland" alliance.

“Although last time the RPA did not surpass the 5 percent threshold, they were very close. Now, I believe that by uniting their forces, and taking into account that there is a 30 percent undecided electoral mass, they will overcome the barrier this time. Nevertheless, I think we will receive the majority of votes, meaning 50 percent and more. I do not rule out that these forces might still unite. In any case, regardless of whether they go with a united front or separately, I believe it will not have a significant impact on our voter base. We have a fairly large voter mass that is still undecided, but I hope that some of them will give us another chance. In any case, I think Kocharian and his team's chances are greater,” he added.
