Heavy: 962, Critical: 233. Current Overview of COVID-19 Burden

The current overview of the healthcare system's burden due to COVID-19 is as follows:

Currently, 2,294 citizens are undergoing inpatient treatment, categorized by severity as follows:

• Heavy - 962
• Critical - 233
• Connected to artificial ventilation devices - 76

With the support of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Armenia, approximately 30 citizens have been provided with oxygen concentrators after the completion of inpatient care, allowing them to continue receiving necessary treatment at home.

This information was reported by Deputy Minister of Health Gevorg Simonian on his Facebook page.

“P.S. It should be noted that after completing inpatient care, citizens often have to undergo a prolonged recovery period,” he wrote.
