U.S. President Joe Biden plans to discuss the situation surrounding Ukraine with Russian leader Vladimir Putin during a bilateral summit. This was announced by Jake Sullivan, assistant to the National Security Advisor at the White House.

In an interview with MSNBC, he stated that Washington is considering "stable relations with Moscow." It is reportedly for this purpose that Biden has proposed a summer meeting with Putin at a neutral venue.

"A whole range of issues in our relationship will be discussed, including Ukraine's sovereignty and territorial integrity," Sullivan explained.
