It Is Important That Upcoming Snap Parliamentary Elections in Armenia Are Free and Legal: Pashinyan

It is important that the upcoming snap parliamentary elections in Armenia are free and legal. This was stated by Acting Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan during an interview with a correspondent from "Izvestia" while participating in a meeting of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council in Kazan.

"It is important that the elections be free, and that the citizens of Armenia have the opportunity to elect a new parliament in conditions of legality and free expression of their will," said Nikol Pashinyan.

In response to a question, the acting prime minister emphasized that he has no disagreements and will not have any with Deputy Prime Minister Tigran Avinyan and other members of his political team. Pashinyan stressed that he and Avinyan are political allies.

Speaking about the prospects for relations between Yerevan and Moscow after the elections, Nikol Pashinyan noted that this issue should not even be discussed. "Relations with Russia have been, are, and will be good," he emphasized.
