Ishkhan Saghatelyan and Taron Tonoyan Have Not Been Summoned by the RA Investigative Committee

Lawyer Benik Galstyan made a post on his Facebook page today stating that the summons for questioning of several representatives of the ARF today by the Investigative Department of Yerevan is a consequence of the rally organized before the Prosecutor General's office by the ARF Supreme Body yesterday. This was mentioned on Facebook by the advisory of the Prosecutor General, Gor Abrahamyan.

He specifically noted, "I find it necessary to clarify that these are absolutely unrelated matters. The notifications regarding the summons for questioning have been handed over to the specific individuals mentioned starting from April 27. In particular, the notification for Arzvik Minasian was handed over on April 27, for Gerasim Vardanian on April 28, and for Gegham Manukyan, the notification was only able to be handed over this morning due to earlier technical issues preventing its delivery." As for Ishkhan Saghatelyan and Taron Tonoyan, they have not been summoned to the RA Investigative Committee in Yerevan for any case.

This means that the specified individuals were informed about the investigative actions well before April 27, indicating that the delivery of notifications and the summons for questioning cannot be linked in any way to the planned rally at the Prosecutor's office. If there is a causal link, it would be rather in the opposite logic.

Therefore, we urge our colleague not to mislead the public by distorting facts and creating misconceptions.
