I Evaluate the Activities of Russian Peacekeepers in Nagorno-Karabakh as Effective, Says Pashinyan

The Acting Prime Minister of Armenia, Nikol Pashinyan, has stated that he evaluates the activities of Russian peacekeepers in Nagorno-Karabakh as effective, according to RIA Novosti. "I would like to especially mention the role that Russia and President Vladimir Putin played in stopping the war in Nagorno-Karabakh. I want to emphasize that I evaluate the activities of Russian peacekeepers in Nagorno-Karabakh as effective; this is now evident to us," Pashinyan said during a meeting with the Prime Minister of Russia.

He reminded that the trilateral commission chaired by the deputy prime ministers of Russia, Armenia, and Azerbaijan is continuing its work. "However, I would like to note that Azerbaijan has unfortunately not yet fulfilled the most important provision of the trilateral statement from November 9. This pertains to the return of prisoners of war and other detained persons," Pashinyan stated.

The Acting Prime Minister of Armenia expressed gratitude to Russia for its efforts in resolving this issue.
