Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Affairs Dismissed, Replaced by Resigned MP

Acting Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan signed new decisions today, April 29. According to these decisions, Tatevik Stepanyan has been dismissed from her position as the First Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Affairs.

In another decision by the Prime Minister, Narek Mkrtchyan has been appointed as the First Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Affairs. “Guided by Article 9, Part 1 of the Republic of Armenia Law on Public Service, Narek Mkrtchyan has been appointed as the First Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Affairs,” the decision states.

It is noteworthy that Narek Mkrtchyan recently resigned from his position as a member of the National Assembly.
