Anahit Avanesyan Experienced Weakness and Muscle Pain After AstraZeneca Vaccination
The acting Minister of Health, Anahit Avanesyan, experienced weakness and muscle pain after receiving the AstraZeneca vaccine yesterday evening. She reported this during a conversation with journalists after a government meeting today.
The minister added that she feels well now, and the weakness and muscle pain have subsided.
Earlier, Ani Hovhannisyan, a member of the 'COVID-19 Armenia' investigative group, had written on her Facebook page:
‘Nikol Pashinyan, the government you lead has completely failed in the fight against the coronavirus, provided false and misleading information about the virus, misled the public, contributed to the spread of the virus, and now you are trying to convince people to get vaccinated, aiming to utilize the batch of vaccines that you have already purchased. You claim that AstraZeneca is completely safe, despite deaths associated with this vaccine, and several countries around the world have banned its use. In other countries, criminal cases would be opened for such irresponsible and harmful actions, and the dilettante members of the government would be prosecuted…’
