The Mayor of Nor Ghazanchi Confirms Reports of Azerbaijani Forces Advancing Toward the Village

The Azerbaijani Armed Forces have once again advanced toward the positions in the vicinity of the village of Nor Ghazanchi in the Martakert region of Artsakh, where they had previously retreated after April 26. This information was confirmed in an interview with Armenpress by Ruslan Arstamyan, the mayor of Nor Ghazanchi.

"The Azerbaijanis have advanced back to the positions from which they had departed on April 27. Measures are being taken by our government and the peacekeepers," said the mayor.

The confirmation of the Azerbaijani advance toward Nor Ghazanchi was also echoed by Hayk Bakhshiyan, the head of the Martakert district administration, in a conversation with Armenpress.

The press secretary of the President of Artsakh, Lusine Avanesyan, did not comment on this information.
