Narek Mkrtchyan's Parliamentary Powers Suspended

The President of the National Assembly of Armenia, Ararat Mirzoyan, has signed the protocol regarding the suspension of the parliamentary powers of MP Narek Mkrtchyan. This is reported by the official website of the National Assembly.

"Based on the deputy's application for resignation and guided by the requirement of Article 154, Part 1, Clause 6 of the Constitutional Law on the Rules of Procedure of the National Assembly, the parliamentary powers of Narek Mkrtchyan, elected from the territorial electoral list of the alliance of the ‘My Step’ party in electoral district number 6, are considered suspended," the announcement states.
