Vano Tumanyan, Suspected in the Murder of Crime World Representative 'Greek Karen', Transferred to Armenia
On April 26, based on operational and reliable information received by the police department in Vagharchapat, 49-year-old Vano Tumanyan, a resident of Lori Province, was transferred to Armenia, reports Shamshyan.com.
He had been wanted since February 2020 and is suspected of committing the murder of 'Greek Karen', a representative of the crime world, on February 24, 2019, using a firearm near the 'Tsiran' restaurant complex along the Abovyan-Jrvezh highway in Kotayk Province.
A criminal case has been initiated against him under parts 1 of Article 104 and 1 of Article 235 of the RA Criminal Code. Vano Tumanyan has been transferred to the Vagharchapat police department and subsequently to the 'Armavir' penitentiary facility.
