Enemy Withdraws Positions in Nor Ghazanchi as Reported by Local Administration Head

On the evening of April 25, Azerbaijani forces advanced 370 meters from their positions in the administrative area of the village of Nor Ghazanchi, located in the Martakert region. This was reported in an interview with Hayk Bakhshiyan, the head of the Martakert administrative district, by the correspondent of Artsakhpress.

According to him, upon learning about the situation and informing the country's leadership, he personally participated in the negotiations. “We have negotiated on this issue with the Armenian armed forces' command staff, the Azerbaijanis, and the Russian peacekeepers stationed in Nor Ghazanchi. The enemy claims that this land is their historical territory, to which we responded that these areas are Armenian historical lands. With the intervention of the government, as a result of the negotiations, the Azerbaijanis have withdrawn their positions back this morning,” said Bakhshiyan. He also noted that a similar unfortunate incident had been recorded in January when villagers observed this during land cultivation activities.
