Driver Involved in Hit-and-Run on Raffu Street Turns Themselves In to Police

On April 21, between 18:00 and 19:00, an unknown driver on Raffu Street in Yerevan hit a 71-year-old citizen, who was subsequently taken to the hospital with injuries.

The police reported that, through the efforts of officers from the Malatia Division of the Police, it was determined that the hit-and-run was committed by a 68-year-old resident of Yerevan. Following explanatory work, the individual turned themselves in to the police on April 26.

The driver has committed to appearing before the Traffic Police's investigation division for traffic accident cases. An investigation is underway.
