Citizen Attempts Self-Immolation in Masis

On April 27, at 11:20 AM, the Ararat regional crisis management center received a report stating that a citizen was threatening to self-immolate near building 11 on Railway Workers' Street in Masis city.

A firefighting and rescue unit from the Ministry of Emergency Situations was dispatched to the scene. It was discovered that the citizen, identified as E.G. (born in 1958), was attempting to take his own life by self-immolation.

With the combined efforts of the rescuers and police officers, the citizen's attempt at self-immolation was successfully prevented.
