According to shamshyan.com, the head of the Ararat regional police department, Kamo Tsutsulyan, along with the operational group headed by Artashat police chief Davit Petrosyan, arrived at the hospital. Also present was the prosecutor of the Ararat region, Armen Chichoyan.

The doctors informed law enforcement that the injured individual was unable to provide an explanation about the incident, only stating that the injuries were sustained from a fall. While the doctors fought to save the injured man's life, officers from the Ararat regional police and Artashat police department established that the injured party was 33-year-old Petik Harutyunyan, a resident of Norashen village in the Ararat region.
