Three Individuals Stabbed in a Notorious Shop in Gyumri
The Kumayri division of the Gyumri police is preparing materials regarding the stabbings that occurred in Shirak province on April 24. On that day, around 11:00 PM, a call was received by the Kumayri police from the Akhuryan ambulance station, reporting that a medical team had transported three individuals with stab wounds to the "Gyumri" Medical Center.
According to photographer Gagik Shamshyan, a police operational group has been dispatched to the hospital where it was confirmed that the victims are 23-year-old Tigran Avalyan from Gyumri and 22-year-old Mher Igityan and 23-year-old Gevorg Darbinyan, both residents of the village of Akhuryan.
Law enforcement has conducted necessary operational investigative measures and discovered that a dispute had occurred in front of address 104 on Gorky Street in Gyumri between the mentioned individuals and another citizen, resulting in them sustaining injuries from a sharp cutting-stabbing instrument.
Shortly thereafter, Shirak province police determined the identity of the suspect, a 30-year-old resident of Gyumri named Raphael M. Following explanatory discussions, he voluntarily presented himself to the Kumayri police station on April 25 and stated that the dispute took place on April 24, around 9:00 PM, in a shop belonging to his family.
Materials are being prepared at the investigative division of the Kumayri police regarding the incident. A forensic examination has been appointed, and efforts are also being made to locate the knife used in the crime.
