Kajaran Mayor Summoned to Investigative Committee

The Mayor of Kajaran, Manvel Paramazyan, has been summoned to the Investigative Committee of Armenia today, April 26.

He is being called in connection with a criminal case initiated last year. It is important to note that Manvel Paramazyan has been charged under Article 131, Part 2, Clause 1 of the Armenian Criminal Code (kidnapping).

His lawyer has described this criminal case as a form of political persecution.
