Children Left Home Alone in Russia Die in Fire

In the Republic of Khakassia, Russia, a major fire broke out in a multi-story building, resulting in the tragic deaths of two girls aged 6 and 7, and a 4-year-old boy. The incident occurred this evening.

According to preliminary reports, the 30-year-old mother had left the children home alone to attend to some errands. The fire may have been caused by the children playing with fire. They were unable to escape from their second-floor apartment because the entrance door was locked.

A criminal case has been initiated.
