Avoid Unauthorized Tomb Renovations and Headstone Installations at Yerablur, Ministry of Defense Advises

The Ministry of Defense of Armenia has announced that the renovations of graves, preparation, and installation of headstones for fallen soldiers and volunteers buried in the "Yerablur" military pantheon, as a result of the military operations unleashed on September 27, 2020, are being carried out based on a standard project approved by the Ministry, funded by the state budget.

The Ministry expresses understanding towards the desires of the relatives of the fallen soldiers who wish to construct their children's graves in a manner differing from the approved design. However, it urges the public to refrain from conducting unauthorized renovation and headstone installation works at the "Yerablur" military pantheon. This is aimed at ensuring uniformity and equality among the graves of all soldiers and volunteers who fell while defending the homeland.
