Video: Tragic Car Accident on Ejmiatsin-Yerevan Highway Results in Death and Injuries

On April 25, at 01:28, the Armavir Regional Crisis Management Center received information about a traffic accident on the highway leading from "Zvartnots" International Airport to the city of Ejmiatsin, indicating that there were injuries.

A fire and rescue unit from the Ministry of Emergency Situations was dispatched to the scene.

It was determined that a collision occurred between an "Opel Zafira" (driven by H. E., born in 1987) and a "Hyundai Sonata" (driven by G. A., born in 1992) at the 8th kilometer of the Ejmiatsin-Yerevan highway.

Before the rescuers arrived, G. A. was hospitalized at "Astghik" Medical Center, where he later died.

The rescuers assisted H. E. to an ambulance; he was also hospitalized at "Astghik" Medical Center, where doctors evaluated his condition as critical.

Following this, the rescuers disabled the vehicles and closed the gas valve of the "Opel Zafira."
