VIDEO: 16-Year-Old Stabbed in One of Nor Nork's Underpasses

The police reported that on April 20 at midnight, a notification was received at the Nor Nork police department from a hospital, stating that a 16-year-old boy had been transported for emergency medical assistance with a diagnosis of "stab wound to the left side of the chest." He indicated that he had received the injury while falling on Galshoyan Street.

The police operational team arrived at the medical center. According to the doctor's report, the young man was unable to provide an explanation. Despite the information provided by the youth, law enforcement had suspicions that the injury was a result of an attack with a sharp-cutting object. To clarify this, the officers of the Nor Nork police station initiated actions in cooperation with the police department of Yerevan city.

As a result of these actions, it was determined that the teenager had been stabbed in one of the underpasses of the 6th district of Nor Nork. The identity of the assailant was also established—a 17-year-old resident of Yerevan. He was apprehended on April 21 on suspicion of causing bodily harm and confessed to the act.

Measures are being taken to locate the knife used in the crime, and examinations have been appointed. Preparations are underway for further proceedings.
