VIDEO: A 22-Year-Old Stabbed in Erebuni; Police Locate Both Suspect and Knife
On April 14, a stabbing incident occurred near the Erebuni Museum. Two young men, who were strangers to each other, got into an argument that ended with one of them being stabbed.
The police in Erebuni were informed about the incident by the hospital. Around midnight, the on-duty nurse reported that a 22-year-old man had come in for medical assistance with a stab wound to the groin area. According to relatives, he had been stabbed.
The crime was solved due to the quick and efficient work of the criminal investigators. Through inquiries, law enforcement discovered that the victim had been injured by a minor resident of Gurgen Mahari Street. Approximately two hours after the report, the suspect was located and taken to the Erebuni police station, where he confessed to the crime. The knife used in the stabbing has been found.
A forensic examination has been appointed. A criminal case has been initiated.
