Road Closures in Armenia

The Ministry of Emergency Situations has reported that there are several road closures across Armenia. The roads leading from the "Amberd" high-altitude meteorological station in the Aragatsotn region to the Amberd Fortress and the Karkar Lake are currently closed.

According to information received from the Georgian Ministry of Internal Affairs' Emergency Management Department and the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations' North Ossetia Crisis Management Center, the Stepantsminda-Larsi highway is open. However, there are approximately 415 stranded freight trucks on the Russian side.
