Goris Deputy Mayor Menua Hovsepyan Released by Court
The Court of General Jurisdiction in Yerevan has declared the detention of Goris Deputy Mayor Menua Hovsepyan unlawful. The court ordered the prosecuting authority to release him immediately.
The arrest was made in connection with a criminal case initiated following protest actions during Prime Minister Pashinyan's visit to Syunik. In total, 16 individuals have been arrested, including Megrie Mayor Mkhitar Zakaryan, Deputy Mayor Armen Samvelyan, and Goris Deputy Mayor Menua Hovsepyan.
