European Wrestling Championship: Poghosyan Wins, Grigoryan Loses

The European Wrestling Championship is currently underway in Warsaw, Poland, featuring competitors in Greco-Roman wrestling. Today, Armenia has three representatives.

In the 63 kg weight category, Hrachya Poghosyan started with a decisive victory, defeating Belarusian Soslan Daourin with a score of 6:0. He will compete against Azerbaijani Tale Mamadov for a spot in the semifinals.

Another Armenian representative, Varuzhan Grigoryan, wrestling in the 77 kg category, unfortunately lost to Turkish wrestler Emre Basar with a score of 0:9.

Additionally, Armenian wrestler Rudik Mkrtchyan, competing in the 55 kg category, will also enter the competition today.
