Arzni-Yerevan Water Pipe Damaged by Rockfall from Nearby Height

The Arzni-Yerevan main water pipeline has been damaged due to a large rockfall from a nearby height. The company ‘Veola Water’ reports that the repair work on the damaged main pipeline has continued throughout the night in the sanitary zone of the Arzni water source.

Currently, the most complicated part of the repair has been completed, but there is still much work to be done. An additional 6-7 hours will be required to finish the repairs. After that, the water pipeline will be rehabilitated, and water supply to the Arabkir and Center areas will gradually be restored within a few hours.
