Republican Party Releases Statement

The Republican Party has strongly condemned the ongoing terror, political persecution, and blatant violations of fundamental rights and freedoms in the country. This condemnation comes in response to the provocative visit of the capitulator in Syunik and the subsequent rampant repression perpetrated by law enforcement against several community leaders and residents of Syunik province. They demand the immediate release of all detainees.

Syunik has been and remains a vital hub for the sovereignty and statehood of the Republic of Armenia, serving as an exceptional guarantee for dignified existence. No regional project can be implemented at the expense of the vital interests of Armenia, Artsakh, and the Armenian people, nor can it ignore them.

The latest developments further prove that the continued tenure of capitulator authorities poses an immediate threat to our national interests. We express our solidarity and support for our compatriots in the land of Syunik.
