VIDEO: 'I Expect the Issue to be Resolved by Special Operations' – Pashinyan Addresses Police Chief and NSS Director

I want to address the incident that took place today in Meghri. It is clear that there has been a violation of the law, and I expect that the law enforcement agencies of the Republic will respond to the situation very precisely and firmly. This was stated by Nikol Pashinyan during a meeting held at the Syunik Regional Administration, which was attended by Suren Papikyan, the NSS Director, the Police Chief, and others.

“It cannot be allowed for a small group of people to simply create an impression, and regardless of the impression, it cannot be allowed for an atmosphere of impunity to exist in the Republic of Armenia. Mr. Abazyan and Ghazaryan, I expect that this issue will be resolved very sharply and through special operations, and the guilty parties will be held accountable in a visible manner before the public,” said Nikol Pashinyan.

It is worth noting that during his visit to the Syunik region today, residents did not allow Pashinyan to visit communities. Protests were held in various communities of Syunik, where citizens shouted “Nikol the traitor, Turk, and land-seller,” alongside various insults and offenses, under which he left the towns.
