Video: Factory Guards Steal 500,000 Dram Worth of Equipment

On April 16, the Kumayri division of the police received a report that from March 26 at 2 PM until April 16 at 10 AM, electric motors from machines, seven electric motors from the ventilation system, and parts had been stolen from a factory in Gyumri. The preliminary assessment indicated that the damage exceeded 500,000 drams.

Criminal investigators from the Kumayri division of the police apprehended two guards from the same factory on suspicion of theft. One of them confessed during questioning that he and the other guard had regularly stolen motors and parts from the factory.

Some of the stolen items have been confiscated. Preparations for legal proceedings are underway regarding the incident.
